Breakfast Mai Tai
The Breakfast Mai Tai comes from Fanny Chu which can be found in the Easy Tiki Book. This is an excellent Mai Tai riff that includes cinnamon, banana liqueur, and a nicely funky rum, Smith & Cross.
Breakfast Mai Tai
Ingredients
1 oz lime juice (30 ml)
¼ oz cinnamon syrup (15 ml)
½ oz orgeat (15 ml)
½ oz banana liqueur (15 ml)
1 ½ oz Smith & Cross Rum (45 ml)
¾ oz Hamilton black rum (22.5 ml)
Directions
- Shake all ingredients with crushed or nugget ice. Open pour intto Mai Tai glass and add more ice as needed. Garnish cinnamon stick, mint, and an orchid
